There are 4 different badges on Whi that can appear over someone's profile picture. It's possible for one member to have more than one badge, for example Heartist, Recognized Writer and Gold.
At the end of every year we award our most active members who posted great original content throughout the year and inspired others. To qualify to be a Heartist you must be a good member of the community, use the app or website every week, follow the rules, post original content, write articles, create collections and spread the love to your friends.
Recognized Writers badge
At the beginning of every month we award our most active writers who write great original articles. To qualify you must write original content, be a good member of the community, follow the rules and spread the love to your friends. It is forbidden to copy articles from other users or websites.
It is an official badge that is given to public figures to let people know the account is authentic. If you have a verified Twitter account just link it to your Whi account and you’ll get verified automatically. It’s important to note that the verified badge is not associated with number of followers, or being “Whi famous”, or having many followers on other networks.
When you subscribe for a Gold account you get the Gold badge automatically. Having a Gold account gives you more visibility on the platform, and you don’t see any Advertisement. It’s a way for our members to support Whi directly. Subscribing to a Gold account must be done through our app (on iOS or Android). Learn more
